Dr. Kenneth Lee

October 10, 2005

DR KENNETH LEE -  PROVIDING MEDICAL CARE TO HURRICANE VICTIMS - WILL BE HONORED AT 35th HIGH SCHOOL REUNION

Dr. Kenneth Lee will be returning to the south land to be honored by his fellow classmates, the Montebello High School Class of 1970, for his humanitarian work, at their 35 year reunion, which will take place on Saturday, October 29th, at the Hyatt Regency Resort in Huntington Beach.

Dr. Lee, a 1970 graduate of Montebello High School, and former resident of Montebello went on to study medicine at MIT, followed by an MD and a PharmD at UCSF. After a five year stint with the Army, he spent two years practicing medicine in a 'migrant clinic' in North Carolina. He then moved to South Florida in 1995 and where he is in private practice (Internal Medicine).

Dr. Lee also used his keen business skills to start two Urgent Care Centers, a non-profit organization (which provides free services to the medically indigent), and a MSO (which owns/manages nursing agencies, laboratories, etc). Dr. Lee is presently treating Katrina and Rita Hurricane victims twice a week at his clinic in Boynton Beach, Florida.

UPDATE: Due to his humanitarian commitments, Dr. Lee was unable to attend our reunion as planned. However, he was with us in spirit, and, as well, was a major benefactor to the reunion.  We thank him for his support.  His Humanitarian Award was presented instead at a small dinner held in early 2006.
